You don’t have to worry a lot, as there is an array of methods to attain those beautiful curls without using expensive and harmful equipment. The methods which are mentioned here are really harmless and effective in nature. Read on to know more!
Method 1: For easy and loose waves
You need to wet your hair. There is no need to wash it all over again. Brush the hair thoroughly to make sure no tangles are there. Now separate your hair into two sections. Twist each section by holding it really tight. Now make two buns each side and secure it by a rubber band. Let the hair dry overnight. In the morning, open the buns and you have loose waves.
Method 2: Vintage look- Head Band
First of all you need to wash your hair properly and condition them as usual. Towel dry your hair. Wrap your hair into a head band. Try to choose a soft elastic headband and the type that can wrap all your hair into the band. Wrap all of your hair around the headband and secure them with hairpins tightly so that they may not fall down. Keep on doing it until all of your hair is placed properly. Let your hair dry completely in a night’s period of time. Now you can remove the headband and shake off your hair. Unpin each of the section of your hair and let the curl down. Continue doing it until your hair is completely loose. Apply a dollop of hair cream and spray your hair with a hairspray.
Method 3: Natural waves- braid
Wash and condition your hair as you would do generally. Now gently comb your hair to make it tangle free. Pat dry your hair with the help of a towel. Now braid your damp hair into two plaits.
Tips
• To make to look natural, you can use your fingers to pull apart the braids, by loosening them gently.
• For loose waves, try using one single braid rather than braiding two parts.
• For tight curls, separate your hair into three or four sections and braid each nicely.
Now let your hair dry. You can wait for several hours or sleep with your hair in braids. Let the curls loosen up and gently run your fingers to get natural curls.
Method 4: Twist it up
You need to wet your hair. There is no need to wash it all over again. Brush the hair thoroughly to make sure no tangles are there. Now separate your hair into two sections. Twist it and hold it up with a hair tie. Wait for few hours and let the curls loosen out. You will get beautiful looking hair.
Method 5: Roll it up
For this method you will be needing rollers. You can get it easily from any beauty shop or local shop. The big rollers will create tighter curls while small rollers will create loose curls. First of all you need to wash your hair properly and condition them as usual. Comb them properly to keep tangles at bay. Make several sections and gently roll it up separately and pin them. Repeat it till your hair is covered with rollers all around. You have to leave the rollers for 3 to 4 hours. Take out the rollers and you will have amazing looking curls.
Method 6: Tight curls- T shirt
Wash your hair properly and condition them as usual. Comb them properly to keep tangles at bay. Don’t use serum or leave in conditioner. Take any old t-shirt and cut out strips out of it. For tiny curls make the strips one inch long and three inches for bigger curls. Make sections in your hair. Take the strips and roll it up inwardly. Now tie the strips once you have reached up to your scalp. Wait for few hours and open the strips. You will thank us later for voluminous looking hair.
Method 7: Voluminous hair- sock it up
For this method, you need to cut the toe part from a clean tube sock (about 1 1/2 inches or 4 cm). Now you need to roll the sock into a shape of a donut. You won’t require washing off hair; dry hair will do for you. Make a ponytail at the top of your head. Wet your hair with a bottle of water. Hold your ponytail and keep it inside the hole in the sock. Wrap each section carefully till the up. Leave the bun for a night or for about 4 to 5 hours. Loosen up the sock and open the hair tie.
